We are keen to find a fundraising coordinator who will work in a voluntary capacity to support the work of our International Office, based in Dublin 1.
The role will involve:
Organising fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, prize draws and street collections
Recruiting and coordinating the work of volunteers
Approaching individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organisations for sponsorship and donations
Developing new fundraising ideas and events
Developing strategies to encourage new or increased contributions.
Managing a budget and meeting fundraising targets
Ideally the fundraising coordinator will have the following skills:
Excellent people skills
Effective problem solving
